Netherlands International Shooting Competition for Reserves (NISC) in Olanda dal 5 al 7 ottobre 2007.

La Nics è una gara internazionale di Tiro militare organizzata dalle Forze di Riserva olandesi giunta alla quindicesima edizione. Si svolge, dal venerdì 5 a domenica 7 ottobre 2007, in una struttura militare vicina a Harskamp, cittadina posta a circa 82 km da Amsterdam.

La competizione militare prevede tre prove in cui verranno utlizzati il fucile d'assalto Diemaco C7, la pistola Glock 17 e il fucile d'assalto FAL con la possibilità di ottenere la qualifica di sharpshooters ("expert") in ogni singola disciplina.

Announcement NISC-2007

NETHERLANDS INTERNATIONAL SHOOTING COMPETITION

I herewith have the pleasure to inform you about the fifteenth (15e!!) edition of NISC. (The 3rd lustrum)

The Reservists Shooting Committee of the Netherlands Armed Forces Federation of Reservists will be organizing the International Shooting Competition for Reserves on 5 and 6 October 2007 by the name of " NISC 2007 ". For the fifth time both reservist associations in the Netherlands – working together as a federation – organise this all-ranks competition.
The competition has the official approval of the Commander in Chief of the Netherlands Army Forces.

This international meeting will take place near the village of Harskamp, situated in the east centre of the Netherlands. The social activities will take place both inside and outside of the Army Camp and the shooting competition itself in the adjoining Infantry Shooting Camp (I.S.K.)

The programme will start on Friday 5 October 2007 by 16.00 hrs. with a reception, followed by diner, briefings and social contacts in the mess. Registration will be open until Friday 22.00 hrs.
The shooting competition will take place on Saturday 6 October, followed by the gala-dinner and the prize-giving outside the Army Camp. Departure will be on Sunday 7 October.

The shooting competition will exist of three disciplines: pistol Glock 17, rifle Diemaco C7 and rifle FAL. Participants, meeting the score requirements of the Diemaco or the FAL, will receive the sharpshooters ("expert") certificate, concerning the weapon as well as the belonging badge or the badge weapon-type clip.

In this Netherlands competition, being a contribution to the international military shooting competitions, can be participated by teams consisting of 3 marksmen. A maximum of 45 teams can be accepted.
Registration-fee will be € 75 totally per person.

Further detailed information will be send by mail to our NISC-relations and to those, who respond to this announcement leaflet by E-mail. This information concerning the invitation, the programme, time schedule, shooting disciplines, locations and an application form, will be sent to our NISC-relations in June 2007.
