10 Rounds with rifle G 36

15 rounds machine gun MG 3
5 Throws with practice hand grenades
5 rounds air pistol

8. Team / Entry Fee

Only one team per unit. Each team consists of 4 contestants. Any individual may only start for one team. Each team (4 contestants) will be required to pay an entry fee of 30,-- €.

Team leader has to be officer or nco.
Total number of com-petitors 250, checked by time of incomming entry forms


9. Receipt of Entry
Upon receipt of entry for the contest, we will return a receipt of entry, stating your starting time. Please register one hour before starting time at the registration.

12. Participants
a) Military personal, both active and reserve:

United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxemburg, The Netherlands, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, USA
b) Civil officials: Germany, the land Baden-Württemberg, local communities
c) Civil officials Bundeswehr
d) civilian participants are not allowed to take part in the contest

13. Food The costs for rations are included in the entry fee. Additional food and drinks can be bought on the range.


14. Dress

a) Foreign contestants will wear appropriate uniform, accord-ing to national regulations.

b) German military personal will wear field dress.

Attention Every contestant is required to be equipped with individ-ual sound protection.

15. Weapons

Weapons used at the shooting contest are

-MG 3
- rifle G 36 cal 5,56mm
-air pistol
-Practice Handgranade
Weapons and ammunition will be provided.

16. Weapon Instruction
A weapons instruction will be given on the range (follow the signs) and must be adhered to by every contestant. Without written clearance by the instructor, a team will not be al-lowed to start.


17. Starting Time
Each team will be assigned a starting number and a starting time. The team leaders are required to register their complete team 30 minutes before their starting time and remain within reach for their call-up.


18. Aids
The use of optical or acoustical aids is not allowed on the range, except for functional personal.


19. Hit Counting
Scoring will be a main responsibility of functional personal. In case of doubt, the responsible range leader will decide.


20. Modifications The contestants are not allowed to modify the weapons.


Shooting Contest Events

Attention There will be no training for the different events.

21. Rifle G 36

5 rounds, kneeling, no support for the weapon, single fire, time limit 30 seconds, target at 100 m.

5 rounds, standing, no support for the weapon, single fire, time limit 30 seconds, target at 100 m.
Max number of points to attain with 10 rounds (both events): 100.
The events above are shot at automatic targets, with auto-matic scoring.

22. Machine gun

15 rounds,3 targets will be advised at 25 m,

small targets 10 points, great target 5 points, if compeditor has hit three advised targets, there will be a bonus of 20 points. Max 170 points

23. Air pistol Will be advised on range

24. Handgranades

5 practice handgranades, prone, time limit 2 minutes, scored will be the point where the grenade comes to rest, target window 10 points, Targent door 5 points, target at 10 m.
Max points to attain: 50.

25. Time limit

All events are time limited. All weapons will be tested in advance. There will be no time for training, start and stop commands are given by the responsible range leaders. Should any shot be fired after the stop command, an accord-ing number of hits will be deducted from the score.


26. Tie Breaking In case of tie, there will be tie breaking.

27. Protests OCE will decide.

28. Disqualification Offence against this set of rules will lead to disqualification of the offending team. The starting fee will not be returned.

29. Scoring Each event will be scored after shooting.

Attention Empty magazines have to remain at the according event.

With the participation of the contest, this set of rules will be acknowledged. Rules are subject to change.

German Schützenschnur

Our foreign comrades, both active and reserve are hereby cordially invited to participate in an addi-tional shooting to qualify for the German Schützenschnur at the Eschbach military range,

Friday 27th june 2008, 1300 – 1800 hrs.

Qualification is with submachine gun and pistol.

The day will end with a evening around the camp fire.


Important

In addition, please note that the status of reservists from NATO countries is as specified in the NATO Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA). If you accept the invitation, you are kindly requested to apply for a visitors and/or entry permit via your responsible Military Attaché in Germany in ac-cordance with the visit procedures applicable in your country.

We hope for a good arrival of all our guests and we wish you a good time at the Eschbach range.
